Rose is still there and hasnt changed a bit. Pascal is growing a mustache for Movember, he looks super cool. Thank you for the cards that Ellie received this week. We will respond to everyone as soon as we get a personal card printed.

Bad news

Hello,
It's been a long time since we've updated the blog. I'll quickly explain what's happened over the last 18 or so months then I'll update you on the present situation.

Ellie's 18 month chemo treatment went very well. We really couldn't have asked for better.
Ellie didn't miss any of the treatment schedule. There was plenty of sickness, hair loss/thinning, blood transfusions, school missed and tears but she coped very well. Finally on October 8th 2013 Ellie was given her final dose of chemo.

Since then there's been holidays in Italy, New York, had a fantastic Christmas and lots of smiles.
We've had one positive MRI scan but unfortunately just over a year after chemo finished we got a call from Ellie's oncologist to say that the tumour is active and action must be taken.
Following a discussion with Dr. Capra we have decided on a 12 month chemo treatment schedule beginning very shortly.

To say we are gutted by the news is an understatement, we are devastated.

We would like to thank everybody for their support during Ellie's first chemo schedule. A special thank you to Make A Wish Foundation and Aoibheanns Pink Tie.

Back shortly with updates of treatment.
